In the "Museum of Industrial Tools" MICROTECH there is an authentic copy of the original catalog of 1906 "Price list of hardware", depicting a model of this rarity. caliper, only with the upper location of the locking screw.

A rare English caliper should include:

The front surface of the measuring rod has two scales with a direct reading (metric scale 0… 290 mm and an inch scale 0… 11 inches);

The rear side of the measuring rod has one metric scale with a countdown of 300… 0 mm;

The movable frame is closed with two opposite windows;
