MICROMETER MK-50, "AK", Germany, about 1910

The German company "August Krisch" is not well known in the world.

AK production was located in the German city of Aschaffenburg.

The Museum of Industrial Instruments MICROTECH has a rare German micrometer type MK-50, which has the following differences:

Steel flat unpainted bracket of simplified design, which is typical of the early period of micrometer production in the early 20th century;

Quite a modern design of the drum and rattle;

The measuring rod and mounting gauge have a smaller diameter of 6.0 mm, in contrast to traditional micrometers with diameters of 6.5 mm and 8.0 mm;

The case is made of solid wooden boards connected in a spike;

Labeled logo and name of the manufacturer, but no date of manufacture.
