Combined METER, untitled, (Austria-Hungary), circa 1930

Rare folding meter has the following differences:

Consists of 4 wooden components in the form of an accordion with an additional angular rotation, in contrast to traditional composed meters with a folding mechanism in the form of scissors;

The middle rotary unit has angular divisions, due to which the angle of inclination between adjacent wooden components is controlled (the "protractor" function);

A horizontal horizontal ampoule is installed on one of the wooden components, due to which the horizontal level is controlled (the "level" function).

A rare folding combined meter is a good example of a simple but reliable multifunctional meter that can measure three connected geometric parameters simultaneously: length, angle and level.
